Looking for help on Lake Lanier, Winter fishing suggestions.
We’re here from January-May…
Areas to fish, lures/bait. Anyone have any suggestions? I’ve been out 3 times and can see the fish, on the finder but not one hit so far. I’m trying jerk bait, and worm rigs so far.

Go to the USER LIST and put in Lake Lanier in the location box there are a few from there that you can send a PM to. Also there are at least two Bait shops on the lake that you can call. I have fished for cat fish there but that's all. Welcome to the forum and good luck.

I haven't been there in a year or so. I caught most of mine drop shotting.. I pour my own plastics but used a color similar to a morning dawn or margaritas mutilator on drop off near 30-40 ft depth. Slow your presentation dowm.

Subscribe to the GON best reports on Ga fishing. Monthly it will detail in pages on all Ga large lakes . Usually reported by professional outfitters...If you go outdoors any time of the year you got to read the GON...A must read....

Thanks for responding. I’ve been bank fishing, with zero huts…My son in law has a bout, and he’s had us on fish a couple of times, green pumpkin plastics has been good for a few fish.
