I went to the river today to see where I was going to go to on the charter and look around a bit.
The river was a kind of a blue green color
And was moving kinda quick while we were looking at the river a boat came with 3
Steel Heads so i took some pictures
We are at Blue Creek Boat Landing

They were drifting with floats and pink beads for bait looks like fish eegs in a ball and some just a bead the size of a quarter

The guide there said middle of February is the hot time and I’m going February 6 he knows my guide and said he was good and I’ll get fish. Hope so

Steel Head or Salmon out here I have caught salmon in Lake Michigan but they are not like the ones from the ocean

Yes they looked good a friend of mine and i are going back there and try some bank fishing on Tuesday with eggs and worms 🪱
Trout are in the river also we will see

Sounds good. If your interested we could go in our own boats. Go figure it out. Take pictures. I would run my boat up it a ways . Your boat will also do it. I’m just not a fly fisherman for Steelheading or Salmon. I know guys in gorge that are but. Not kidding if want to go again in either of our boats I will make happen or pitch in on everything.
