What type of fish and seafood is not good to you? Fresh or Salt?
Freshwater = Gar, Bowfin, Sucker, Carp (although good smoked).

Really the taste or the bones? I’ve always enjoyed pike but then again I like most all fish.
I’d consider Chinese farm raised talapia and other raised fish to be bad seafood. That’s about it. In the hands of the right chef I believe all fresh seafood is fantastic!
The kind that you don’t know exactly where it’s from and under what methods / controls it was harvested and processed.
Freshwater Pike is excellent in my opinion. The Y bones have to be dealt with (learning how to take them out when filleting was a game changer for me), but the flavor of the fillets is honestly outstanding in my opinion.

I'm with you on that Rock. 55 or so years ago on a canoe trip into the Minnesota/Ontario Boundary Waters, the only meat we brought along was a couple slabs of bacon. Hadn't been for pike we'd have gone pretty hungry. We caught lot of sm bass and a bunch of pike - the pike were much better. IMO.
The worst thing I've ever eaten out of the ocean is sea urchin roe. First of all, it ain't roe. It's gonads. And how anyone can possibly enjoy that taste and texture is beyond me. Like eating a spoiled oyster. I love all kinds of seafood. But come on man!
Depends how hungry I am. If fresh about anything 👍

Agreed. I spent the summers of my youth on trips to Canada just to catch them. If you don’t know how to clean they are a b!#%% but once you have it down it’s as easy as most other fresh water fish.

I have had some decent Talapia but it was tacos and now I know what I know and it is hard to even use it as Crab bait. I only use crab bait I wouldn’t mind having in the steam pot.

I agree. Wouldn't eat a Talapia for nothing in the world.
