Northerner Loc: Northern Minnesota

Good day but cold -18 below this morning, even hard water fishing is a little tough in these conditions. Lived in Northern Minnesota all my life, fishing is my passion. I’m retired now. Enjoy all the opportunities Northern Minnesota offers. Walleye is my first passion. Fish several states including Wi, Mi for Steelhead, Lake Superior for Lake trout. ND, Canada. Spent sometime fishing In Washington, Salmon Coho. Nice to see posts from distant waters, bought fifth wheel camper and boat and hope to travel and fish!

Welcome to the forum. Never canoed the Gunflint but did several week long trips in the Quetico out of Ely back in the 60's. Great fun. Back then it wasn't unusual to go the entire week and not see any other people except those in your own party after the first portage.
