We don't seem to have that problem with Jet Skis on the Miss. River where I fish. Someone moving in on me, is perhaps my biggest annoyance.

Secluded lake smooth water and music blaring across it.

Hydrilla gnats ,jet skis, people moving in on my duck hunting or fishing. Mosquitos who can stand flat footed and assault a turkey . Forgetting the insect repellent. All these are distractions. But I still fish and hunt even though I'm 68 in July.

That is mine also and the wake board boat 🚢 s
And big stereo 's they have in them basting there music up and down the lake.!!

Another one is ," You're the ONLY boat on the lake and you're fishin lets say down by the dam. Then later, another boat is launched and it's a ski boat. Where do they start skiing? You got it, around in circles by the DAM. "
Went from a beautiful morning catchin fish to water so choppy we couldn't stay there and fish.
They had the WHOLE rest of the lake to ski on and they chose to ski right next to us so we had to leave.

My cure for skiers and jet skis is a 1 ounce jigging spoon with the hook removed on a 7' or longer rod. I'll put them in the water quicker than a wasp.

Well, they weren't anywhere near enough to cast a lure to. But after a few mins. of skiing around in circles the wakes were tremendous and you couldn't remain seated in your bass fishin seats on the deck. Much less stand up and walk around.
It was me and Old Jim. He's 95. I was afraid he was goin to fall out of the boat.

I hate the 1st part of Duck season because of mosquitoes 🦟 😒 but that won't stop me.

The mosquitos on Lake Seminole will give you a new understanding of them. Hydrilla gnats in the summer will make your motor look white.

Every single morning is like that in NC except for this time of year Andy. They would go after the ankles walking across the yard, and annoy the crap out of me until the sun set them packing.
