My mistake. I guess it's a generational thing. People of my generation (really old) would understand this instantly. "He don't know sh*t from Shinola."

Very possible Tubo I also heard that often. Along with don't know your azz fro a home in the ground 🤣😂. I know I won't fish with anyone that is arogant. Had enough of that in the past. I don't need the sxxt or shineola. I wee bit scuffed n scared will work just fine. Just Ood ole boys n girls 🎣🎣🎣 Just as I layed my phone down A song came on Mac Davis It's hard to be humble. That kind of person doesn't get a welcome aboard 👎👎

Makes me think of the saying about that. However I always wondered what the Shinola people thought of the saying.

I have heard and know the saying just thought there was a process someone established. I think many we come across in life are exactly the definition of not knowing the difference but try not to surround yourself with them. I have dealt with many over my lifetime that definitely don’t know the difference. It’s really challenging when a Manager wants you to train that type of person.

Being as they don’t know the difference they never realized it included them.

I took a coworker fishing one time. He got a bite flipped my spinning reel downside up and made the prettiest bird nest.. he grabbed my other rod did the same and we were done for the day. Never got the fish and he didn't have to swim back to shore. The most restraint I've ever had. I did not ask him to go again. He would have failed the test.

Definitely been there, but sometimes we have to give friends a chance and then weed em out as no boat for you !! Without saying sometimes and still be friends,,,let's fish from shore !!😁😁

There are three kinds of novices. This applies to everything. In particular to me I had to hire guys to work in a wood shop.
Naturals— they picked it up after being shown once
Teachables—after a while they learned.
Knucleheads— no matter how long you spent teaching them they had no idea how to do it.
I’ve met them all.
