So what was the deal - just no activity? Where were you? Got a new set of chest-high waders today - now I'll be the proudest tiger in the jungle - and also the warmest.....lol

Be careful with those waders, Tony. I grew up with waders on and when I went into the Gulf Surf the first time, I said, "Whoa, wait a minute, this sand moves, not the Laguna Madre mud, mind ya, but be careful of that sand. Tread lightly.

BV Tony: Do not get too fiesty. Those sting rays might just get at you through those waders, depending upon how thick they are around the ankles. Just Sayin...RJS

I'll take precautions, guys. I even have a steady-stick made up to aide me. Besides, I think probably they will be too hot for about 350 days of the year. You'd think I'd be smart enough to stay home those other 15 days, huh?

You are so right there Fly 🪰 my first surf fishing last year at Westport area i had so much trouble standing up without sinking into the sand
