It is hard to trust that any of them are giving us the complete story. Does that make me a cynic? I guess it does. With that in mind I receive an email daily from a site called the Flip Side. I highly recommend it. It takes a current issue and gives you what both the right and the left have to say about the issue. I admit I lean more to the right. However reading this daily I have to admit that many times my view can be altered

thanks I will give it a try that sounds like what is needed a honest non=biased presitation of both sides of an issue.

I was told once that if you listen to a divorced couple you get what each one says and get half of each you will get closer to the t***h of why they divorced. Same with right and left.

A few years ago we (our church) were the hosts of several large groups of Chinese professionals. They were quite savvy about politics and were amazed that Americans still watched the News! None of them ever watched their news which they admitted was all propaganda! So is ours! Just Sayin...RJS

Precisely why I quit watching the news years ago. Nothing close to the t***h anywhere any more. Either side. And google or anything on the internet is even worse. Kinda scary how many people research until they find what they want to see on the internet and call it “factual information”. I had a client in Oregon that once told me “if you want to be the smartest person in your industry just build a website. 50% of the people will believe every word you say on a website”. She was so right with that. A person can ALWAYS find what they want to hear if they research the internet long enough.🙄

Catfish I've been telling my wife that for yrs. Anyone that believes any poll that's taken is being taken in. You come up with a topic n you can make it benefit you everyone. You just need to go to like minded people. Black journalism is alive n well unfortunately 👍👍

yea it is sort of like listening to a bunch of fisherman on a dock telling their fishing stories. When my daughter was younger she asked me about some of the stories I told her it was sort of a game. Some one tells a story everyone knows the story is not true and do not believe it yet they pretend they believe it and act suitably impressed and the one who told the story knows no one really believes the story but pretends everyone does believe the story and feels suitably important and everyone gets along and has a fun day fishing, and goes home happy not careing if the stories they told and heard were true or not.

I've heard plenty but have never told one. Did I ever tell you about the 35" 15lb walleye I cought on a size 22 fly while fishing for bluegill in eastern Washington? and you are reading about it here on the web so it has to be true or they wouldn't print it.

Well said J. Those who take google as “factual” are really misled. You can google till you find the “facts” you want to hear and that’s with anything. Nothing will ever be better than seeing things with your own eyes and that, generally, does not line up with the internet in most cases. I’ve been called a liar more than once about what I’ve, actually, witnessed because the internet said something different than what I witnessed first hand. Best to not share with some people.

I’m totally with you!

I hope people know what I mean by black journalism. It's not racial. I know things are taken out of context at times. 👍
