Sort of like when they keep saying Ivermectin is a horse medicine and people are takeing horse medicine when in fact Ivermectin has been used in the treatment of malaria,d lupus and other conditions in people safely for 50 years or more. Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic (water pill) that prevents your body from absorbing too much salt and keeps your potassium levels from getting too low.
Dutasteride, is a medication primarily used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate

Yes they are sometimes used as part of the drugs they use for in that t*********r therapy but that is not the primary use of these two drugs and the article you read I suspect just pointed that use out to try to make Dr. Kory look stupid. Remember often and I mean often Dr. will use a drug in the treatment of a illness or condition that the drug was not specifically made for, because they have found it is effective for that use as well. I do not know why there is so much push back on the different treatments that different Dr.s have used and have found effective to some degree or another, in the treatment of C***d just because it is not the normal use. If they and their patients find it helps then use it I don't care if it is hogwart and dandilions, if it helps and the patients want to try it and the Dr. wants to proscribe it, then let it be used and let a fair evaluation be done so others can decide rather or not to use it, it is sure a lot better than just saying we don't agree with it so we would rather just let the patients die than try something that might be exspermental.

DC, I was wrong to jump to conclusions, chalk it up to layman's ignorance. You have to admit worm medicine and sex altering drugs sound implausible for fighting a v***s. I have since read that Ivermectin was suggested as a cure in the original c***d experiment proposal papers. I must rethink a lot of things. Just because it sounds funny doesn't mean its don't work with a lot of things. A closed mind doesn't learn much. 😞

I know i often use humor to poke fun of things out of context and it was funny i just wanted to clearify so the good dr isnt labled a quack.

oh don't worry about it, the good thing about this site you can say what you want and while you may get moved to the attic if the discussion turns political, that's ok and just a way to protect the sensitive, but the discussion will continue in the attic and if someone disagrees with you they will let you know and as long as it is not personal (which I have never seen you post a personal attack) it is no harm no foul and all posts are welcome.
