I'm old school to Fly. But wife got rid of microwave about 10 years ago. Now that is old old school. Heat everything on the stove or oven. I'm thinking out side the box. LOL

No microwave? They are like cell phones, must have.

Kids got us a air fryer for Christmas upon my asking for one. I should have been more specific as to the type. So my little round one is great for small stuff and does enough frozen fries in about 10 - 12 minutes, far better than the stove. Did some pork fajitas that were also good.

So i look at this one as a learner, would prefer a larger unit where i could put 2 steaks in instead of 1.

Yea Plum. Got use to not having it. Took awhile though. Even cooking pop corn in a pot of butter and oil. That's old school. LOL. Can you cook pop corn in an air fryer.

What is the difference from a convection oven? Same physics.

I think they are the same, I have both thanks to kids and grandchildren same principle, my air fryer is a power XL, I like it. If you're gonna be cooking very much get a large one

My wife is of the old school also. We got one for Christmas a year ago and it's still in the box. She's afraid she'll blow up the house. We went to the kids to babysit once. She decided to make them chicken nuggets in the airfryer having never used one. They came out about the size of a marble and as hard as one. The kids didn't find it funny but we laughed our butts off.

My wife just bough a really nice air fryer. It does several different things and she loves it. If you’re after a fat free plan and still want to eat everything you’ve always eaten the air fryer is the way to go. French fries moist but crunchy and no grease. Fried chicken that’s amazing and no grease dripping down your chin. We Make pizza and I mean real pizza and there’s no greasy mess and it tastes awesome. Fish is tender, moist and not a bit greasy coming out of it. Some people crave the grease but we don’t so it’s a great addition to the kitchen here.

Hey, your the one who started this. Thanks. I'm getting some good advice also.

We have the Ninja Foodi and the Grill 5-in1. We love them both. We also have a Ninja vacuum and coffee pot and love them all. Great products.

Got my wife an Instapot brand air fryer for her birthday, and have used it a few times. Excellent wings, tater tots and shrimp. Not so good using it for cauliflower, kind of dry and charred, but maybe we didn't do it right?
