Never heard of a video of this. I'm sure it has happened to a lot of people. One of my friends shot one off the side of the road. Thru it in the trunk, and it came alive. Tore up his car, dashboard was so gone, he thought it wouldn't even start. Seems he hit the deer in the head and had knocked it out.

Hey Pix,hope all is well!!
We used to trap fox along the Susquehanna when I was in my teens, one morning we had six greys & and red in the box. We would dispense them w a wack on the snout w a broomstick. Got back to my buddies house, opened the box only to see that red tearing across the lawn,my buddies dad was in tears laughing at us

My nephew was on his way to a funeral when the guy in front of them hit a deer. He stopped to see if the driver was all right. After the man said he was fine just shook up, my nephew asked if he was taking the deer. The man said no so when the police arrived he got a tag for the deer. Loaded it in the back of his pickup, went home to ask his brother and Dad to butcher it. When they walked outside the deer was standing in the box of the truck. It jumped out and ran off. They all got a laugh out of that.

Some guys I use to hunt with took n uncle with them one trip. He wasn't very experienced but he shot a nice buck. Decided he wanted a picture. This was in the 60's. He layed the rifle on the rack n set on it's back. Before the boy could get the camera the buck jumped up n took off. Uncle hanging on. They found him on the ground with a broken leg. Never found the rifle. Best turkey story I read in a hunting magazine. A fellow pouched a turkey throwed it in back of his SUV. Turkey wasn't dead. He woke up mad got to flopping around got his foot on the trigger shotgun went off. Poetic justice . Blast went through the seat hit the guy in the back. He went to the hospital. They called the law. Guy got changed with illegal hunting loaded gun in a vehicle big hospital bill n a sore back lol

Maybe that turkey "hunter" was gonna do a driveby if a couple of them happened to come pimping across the road. Gonna be a while before he'll see a license again, if ever. Good !

Did not see that Jar, but the video was good. I picked up a buck fawn years ago that had been hit by a car, but was still alive but in shock. I took it home, doctored it up a couple days, antibiotics on all the cuts and feed it some calf milk. It was also eating everything in the garden spot I had it in. Then it jumped the fence and just left one night. Had a Big 6x6 Buck show up at the house a few years later, always made me wonder๐Ÿค”

Nope, he just walked/ran down the driveway and headed through the neighborโ€™s field towards the river. I took a picture (that is long gone) and let him go on his way. I know he was a Big one, as Iโ€™ve taken a lot of nice Bucks through the years, and he was bigger than anything Iโ€™ve got hung on my walls! I sure hope he passed on those genes!
