So glad she is better. That sounded like a close one. Might be a good time to get all that information together on one place, power of attorney, bill payments, anything either of you might need. When my mom passed suddenly all I had was her checkbook to guide me.
Don't forget prime directive and does your state have a POLST.

Thank you, ONE AND ALL! Jean is and appears to be fine. In between DR and nurses visiting and doing various tests, she was giving me passwords to bank accounts, other codes, etc. All just in case! That is spooky! But it was that your prayers worked. She turned out to recover adequately to return home that evening. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Just one more example of who powerful your presence is. We appreciate you, Mucho!

Around 2:00 A.M. my wife wakes me up and said she had terrific chest pains and was afraid she was having a heart attack. Since we live in a senior complex, she tried to use her personal alarm, but it did not respond. So she used mine and it wasn't long before we had a total of at least 5 EMS men here to take her to the emergency room. I follow in our car.

We spend the rest of the day, from about 3:00 AM until around about 6:00 PM today before they release her. Did a bunch of tests. She had chest pains and Afibrilllation (I think) was what they called it.

Came home with a new blood thinner and hopes that her
diagnosis is correct. That emergency room was packed, they had patients on hospital beds in the hall, and once I said are you going to put Jean in the hospital. The answer was 'we cant, there's no room!" Since we had arrived so early we had a room in the E.R.

Our RX for the blood thinner was $37 with our medical plan. The pharmacist said it would have been $617 without a plan! Amazing. Just Sayin...RJS

Best wishes for your wife RJS, hope those blood thinners (possibly heparin) solve the problem.
