I went over there wearing my tennis shoes 👟 the guy in the shop asked me if i had boots with me as the ramp to the floating dock was under water he said if i decide not to fish he would give me my money back
I walked down to the ramp the water was deep maybe 1ft but it was about 6-8 ft I would have to jump to get to the dock
I decided not to get my feet wet today maybe fall down trying to jump it get everything wet so i will wait afew days for the water to go down
There was about 8-10 people on the dock they had 👢 boots 🥾

I had my Hardy rod 3wt with me i was hoping to wet a fly 🪰 while i had one other rod set with bait = power bait & night crawlers
I prefer to Fly 🪰 fish 🎣 but i don’t mind casting a worm 🪱 the lake is close to me so
I’ll just go Thursday

It’s still a little high water there but i didn’t need 👢 boots but i did bring my hip boots
