I'm with you there, Four. Our youngest grandson wanted to go into the law enforcement program. His parents didn't think it was a good idea and didn't encourage it. Now, he is going to college but doesn't know what he is going to do. I would like to see him go into the medical field.
Good one FourππPlease keep them all Safeπ
Thanks for the reminder. Have a couple close friends here in the neighborhood but best wishes and safety for all!
Ditto that. I've had a few minor run ins that I earned but as Richard Pryor said, Thank *God* we got penitentiaries! I asked a dude - I said, "Why did you kill everybody in the house?" The guy said, "They was home!"
Thank God we have cops..... and other first responders
I have tremendous respect for those in Law Enforcement. May God bless them all!
Always thankful for the Blue. Thanks to one and all.

To the men and women in blue.
Our youngest, 24, has a criminology degree from Marquette University. She has a real interest in the criminal mind and wanted to be an investigator, maybe FBI. She had gone to training courses elsewear in the state, watched an autopsy, participated in a drug stakeout which produced nothing, and did an internship with an agency that involved dogs. One of the dogs could sniff out porn on a computer. They didn't tell her until the end of junior year she would have to be a street cop for at least 5 years before moving on. She finished her degree but opted out of the criminology career. I have much respect for police. Like everything there are some bad apples in uniform but most are trying to do the right thing. Much respect.

Four I honestly don't know why anyone would want to be in law enforcement now. Everything they do is wrong according to some. People ready to throw them under the bus for their own personal gain. Officers make a human mistake in the heat of battle n everyone wants to hang them. Easy for big mouths to sit back n criticize. Go BLUE π±π·π±π·π±π·π±π·π±π·π±π·
Amen to that! I would not be in law-enforcement for any amount of money these days. These guys and gals face so much that they shouldnβt have to!
