I live in Union County, North Carolina. I’m new to fishing and love catching Bass! I have fished at Colonel Franchise Beatty Park, Squirrel Lake Park and Cane Creek Park. Are these lakes fished out? Maybe it’s bad luck, but I really needs some help. Can anybody in the area give me some good advice on where to fish? Thanks!

Welcome NC. I haven't been in NC for more than 20 yrs. Spent time at Camp lejune. Rest was vacations to OBX. Good luck👍👍

Welcome to the Stage Nccorvetteguy. We have a bunch of N.Carolina members, they'll be along. I'm sure your lakes are
fine, you just have to learn each lake. Besides people here, any bait and tackle shop near each lake will be able to steer you in the right direction. Good luck, keep trying,and learning.

You have quite a few options to choose within an hour or two from Union County. North of you is Lake Wylie, Mountain Island or Lake Norman. All have largemouth bass, spotted bass or hybrid bass. South ot you is Santee Cooper or Lake Murray, both excellent fishing!! Tight lines!
