Today will be the warm day for a while, it's 12 now and expected to be 27* this afternoon. This is a good thing, but the wind speed will be a sustained 22 mph, with gusts up to 32 mph, not a good thing.

14 now, heading for 31 later. Definitely taking advantage of the “warmth” provided by Lake Michigan. 😂
Looks like we’ll need it as the high is only supposed to be 9 on Monday 🥶

Good morning to you as well Grizz, I’ve finally wised up (to some small degree) and now wear these rubber steel spiked Yaktrack pullovers on my boots.

Good morning all. 19* this morning and going all the way to 32. Really getting bored sitting around all day. Got my guitar out yesterday, haven't used it in quite a while. Not enough snow for a cross country ski.

The county got some junk for us. Instead of the spikes they had what looked like screen door springs. Useless. One small lake near here gets ice now n then. I watch people throw a small rock out on the ice n think it's safe to walk on. The same ones that think looking at their phone in traffic is a good idea🥴🥴 A few yrs ago at Lake Marburg I saw a guy that put his stuff in a canoe n went out on the ice. Drilled holes around the canoe n sat in it

The weather report on this side of the hill is 15* now and going up to a balmy 30* later. There is hope on the horizon though.
