Sometimes I feel like #8. I once got 27 spam calls in 1 afternoon. Fortunately my phone warned me and I didn't answer any of them, but that would have been fun.

I’ve called the numbers back before but all I got was a message that it wasn’t in service. I wonder how they do that?

They have lists of inactive numbers and program their phones to project those numbers so the real phones are untraceable. Sometimes the number is active I know people who have gotten calls from their own number
