I'm Dave from Port Orchard, WA.
I've been fishing off and on for about 50 years. In the Columbia river, Puget sound, Hood canal, the ocean and lakes from Canada to California. A few charter trips as well.
I have a 24 ft. custom built boat, similar to a North river Seahawk extended transom.
I like to fish salmon, steelhead,halibut, bottom fish and the occasional dog fish. My favorite salmon are sockeye and silvers. I have used herring, anchovies but now exploring hardware and have been successful using them.
Well, time to head off and do something productive.

Welcome to this forum Dave. You sound about as crazy as I am about fishing. I enjoy all forms of fishing but not deep sea trolling anymore. Mostly it's a boat ride, and when you bring something big home like a yellowfin tuna or marlin, you have to do all the cleaning and even delivering to get rid of the fish. I have not tried fly fishing yet, but plan to someday soon. Good to know there are others out there who are just as passionate and avid a fisherman as I am. Woohoo!!
