When I was younger my dad and I used these spinners that resembled Daredevils. The skirt was red and white and the blades were striped like daredevils. Northern Pike went crazy for that lure. The lure itself was on the small side. This was probably 40 years ago. After we lost ours we never found them again in the stores. Are any of you familiar with this lure and is it still out there to buy?

All I see online is regular Daredevil spoons Ed. I don't see any inline spinners with the Daredevil paint design on them.

Did it have a slight "bend" in the upper part of the shaft where you connect the line...and a longish chrome "flared tube like" body with a slot in it? I have one like what I have described and I believe that Eppinger called it an Osprey spinner. The blade was the classic red/white as you mentioned.

Have not used it in a long time and if I rummage around I might be able to add a photo later...

Yeah, I'm pretty much back to normal. A slight cough is all that remains. Thanks for asking buddy. I may even get out and wet a line tomorrow.

We’re they superdupers. Looked just like the daredevils, with a swirl of red and white. Caught a lot of fish with them.

Southbend use to make a spinner with the red and white blade in different sizes. Some of the larger ones had red and white feathers
