It's 32°with lite rain and heavy fog here. Everything still covered with wet snow . Going up to 41° with more rain later.

I'm very familiar with the notion of celebrating Christmas a day early or a day late. My Dad's work sometimes got in the way of celebrating Christmas on the 25th. I guess it's called 'being flexible'.

Adulting: Doing all the things that make being grown up not what we thought it would be when we where kids. ie; work, bills, yard work, etc.

One thing I'll never do is rake my lawn.. We live on the edge of a miles deep piece of woods, and have a yard.. not a lawn.. I've thought about planting more trees and the grass wouldnt grow, but neither would the Veggie gardens.. I'll just mulch whats left in the Spring!!

A strange Christmas Eve for us, we usually have a house full, but a few couldn't make it because of work, so, we decided to do a Christmas Dinner on Sunday. That will work for us.

Good morning and Merry Christmas everyone! My 3 daughters and assorted spouses and munchkins are coming to my house today. Will be a 2 day affair. My wife makes sure everyone has plenty of presents to open, even though most are not expensive. Gets it from her Mom. Hoping weather will cooperate and get the grandsons (10 and 13) out for their first target practice experience. Have a good day, all!

Sure, why not? We've had the same fake tree since the sawfly invasion of '05. She never liked the sap and needles, but the hatch of those flies sealed the fate of real trees in the house.
