What a great post this is becoming! Great photos and comments of what looked like an awesome day for everybody! Just got home from our out of town gathering and had a good time as well. Brother in law surprised us by taking on the "chef role" and doing a seafood smorgasbord of fresh salmon, shrimp and walleye...with all the side dishes to add to an already potluck event. Enough food for a hundred to simply feed 10 people. Yes...we had leftovers!

That sounds absolutely wonderful Fish! Did you get any pictures?

Good to see all these families getting together to celebrate the holy day as well as the holiday. Lee, good to see you back buddy. But guys and gals, it's been a long couple of days. I'm done for tonight. Good night all and sleep well.

Unfortunately...no photos. We were all so busy throughout the entire day (laughing, talking, gifting, eating, playing games, etc.) that I never snapped a shot! On the drive home I thought..."gosh, left my phone in the car and never got around to taking a single picture!".

My brother in law is no stranger to putting on "big feeds", so when he shows up with his "mini roadside diner" kit in the truck you know he has something spectacular in store! The meat cooler contained 10 pounds of each main item...those being the shrimp to be boiled, walleye and fries to be deep fried and salmon to poach on the stove top.

Well sometimes being there and in the moment is better than pictures.
Wow your brother in law comes prepared. Good for you all. Bet it was amazing.
