As we gather this festive day,
Let us not forget the baby asleep in the hay.
He came to give life and show us the way,
At thirty-three years, the price for our sins He did pay.
As we sing carols and mingle with mirth,
Try to remember this miraculous birth.
He bled and died to show you your worth,
He came to save sinful people on earth.
So, if you are burdened with sorrow, pain and strife,
He is the way, the truth and the life.
All he asks is for you to surrender.
When you do, you find him loving and tender.
As for those who remain in His wrath,
He has offered a more peaceful path.
Turn from your ways, confess and repent.
With His body and blood, the full price has been spent.
Every year's end, we spend money on those we love,
Take time to remember the Father above.
His son He gave to us a reason,
Let us believe on Jesus this season.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Welcome Rod, thanks for sharing!
Thank all of you for the positive feedback. It means a lot to me. My son wrote this poem for me a couple of years ago.

Knowing that makes it even more special. Your son has a gift of expression for sure!

Very nice poem; thank you and your son. May you and yours have a Merry Christmas!
Thanks for a reminder for the season. This message needs to be posted everywhere to remind people that this country was founded on this belief.

Rod Breaker that is excellent. I am going to take a chance on plageurism and jailtime and send it out to many.
Thank you
