!4 Year Old Grandson

my 14 year old Grandson, He loves fishing, but here he is in clothes for another sport he loves and that is the Cowboy action shooting. He actually uses those pistols, a Shotgun and a Long rifle. They are all timed events where he is scored on speed and accuracy. He shoots all 4 firearms one after another in a single course of fire. It is a Senior club, but my Grandson and two other friends of his about the same age compete with the adults. So as a project in school wood shop he is making a cart like the adults have to carry all his gear such as ammo, Rifle and Shotgun that he wheels from shooting station to shooting station where they shoot around different obstacles.

I’ve seen some of those events on TV and they look to be a blast Kerry. Absolutely wonderful that he’s participating in that sport and that he’s fabricating his own gear for transport. You must be a proud grandfather.

Yup looks like a good partner. , must be exciting to watch the competition . Must take alot of concentration and eye and hand coordination Make sure he don’t run out too fast without his boots. L O L

That's cool Kerry, i too would be proud. Especially since he is out of the house and no electronics use.

Morning Kerry, He looks like a fine young lad, but, he does need a pair of boots, Kerry, maybe a Christmas present? I have never done that or seen it done anything like that, and I am certainly too old to try anything like that. It sounds like it could be a fun thing to do, and I could see where a gun cart would be necessary.

Thanks Guys, Actually Fly, he has a new pair of boots. He just bought that shirt to fit the theme out at the range and was modeling it for Grandma who is down there helping the kids and getting our Grandson to school. She will be there until next Tuesday.

I don't know about too old Fly. My BIL does pistol on horseback and he's mid 70s with a replaced hip. Doesn't push hard on time any more though
