Good morning, and welcome to the Forum, MrsB. I love that area, and if there is any place I would rather be, it's in Arroyo City, TX. The bride wants no part of it. Too far from anything. Do you live there all year long? We Winter in a condo in SPI. We are not sure if we are going down this Winter, health issues with both of us. But let's keep in touch, o.k.?

Hi Mrs. B. I'm in Brownsville (Olmito) and I keep my boat in Port Isabel and fish mostly in that area. I have friends who have a place in AC with a dock on the channel we usually fish a couple of times a year too. There are a few locals on here and some like FlyGuy who do the Winter Texan thing. Good bunch of folks, generally. "Most" don't understand just how unique our fishing in South Texas really is but they are interested in hearing about it. They thrive on pictures and stories so we look forward to your input. Welcome aboard!
