Telescopic 4 piece, NO EYELET Rings (???)....just thinking maybe I could RECYCLE and ADD this for my Crappie / Bream Kit,...(10 Ft. Pole Length PERFECT!!!) by adding a Spinning Reel and 4 EYELETS, but could NOT Figure Out, How to ATTACH the Reel?....(please see Attached Pictures).....Advice and Suggestions Please?.....Thanks.

I'm a retired rod crafter and I wouldn't monkey with it. You would have to put a handle & reel seat on it in order to hold the reel on. Wrap the guides on it and then what would you have? You can't make silk or of a sow's ear. (MHO).

This is a pole made with a 'cleat' around which the line is wound. It is made for bluegill and crappie fishing.
Don't put a reel on it---it is not designed for it. This is a fiberglas bamboo pole, if you like. It is not a pole for someone who wants to go after anything other than food for the table nor is it made for the impatient among us, in which case you have no business in piscatorial pursuits. Sorry, but that is the long and short of it. You did ask.
Regards,
Va. Cork

Thanks for your quick reply.....I am a newbie here and do not know or have not seen this type of pole before, as I have said ...."I love the pole for its length 10 ft...and the light nimble weight it got!"..(.but was figuring-out how to attach the REEL?)...so OK, gotcha...... Shakespeare produced this "OLD" Wonderpole for Kids Stuff ONLY, right?,... it came with a spool of 8 lb. Line and a box of Hooks, Jigs, Grub Lures, Bobbers and Sinkers ? ... are U saying...I have "to use the Wonderpole as is!",... the Cleats is where we spool the line, (and not DESIGNED as an attachment for a REEL)....BUT, I can NOT use the pole for other species beyond Bream and Crappies?....Advise before I mess the Pole!....Tnx again.

VaCork is most correct.. it's a bamboo fishin' pole gone 21st century ! I have 4, 2@ 10', 2@ 13'. I use them when I take small children, since they rarely are ready to learn how to cast. A bobber and hook w/ split shot 6" up from hook, occasionally a crappie jig. Old school...bank-sittin' or boat-sittin'..... ain't nothin' as fun as watching the bobber dance, then disappear ! Never gets old !
Simplicity is often rewarding as all get out ! Enjoy it !

Down South we will get together when the brim are bedding, catch 50-60 nice bluegill and have some real get down suppers(or breakfasts!) I know of nothing more fun than sittin' on the bank of a pond with my buds just catchin' brim and tellin' lies!! Try it sometime; you won't be sorry. There used to be a fellow Franc White who had a 30-minute fishing-hunting show and his tag line was, 'Do yourself a favor: take a kid fishing.' Just a fine man who was a world class fisherman but could be found with his family panfishin'. I like to think that gentleman knew a thing or two about what was important in life. Rest in peace, Mr. White.

Still sold as collapsible cane pole for traveling. Looks like a nice one in working order! See many spider like boat setups fishing for crappie and bream!
