Unfortunately, as much as I love walnuts or pecans in my brownies, banana bread and/or oatmeal
cookies I have to abstain until I get
a set of 'uppers' - very hard to eat
nuts without choppers !
Sometimes when I make banana bread or oatmeal cookies, I add
a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of applesauce to
the mix - adds flavor and texture !

Why not grind up the nuts? We had a walnut grinder. The finished product was like cream o wheat in the box
