Ran out of space on this post -
the whole list (with photos) would have exceeded the limit, so there's another post following with five
more big bucks !
I can only dream about seeing deer like that

As long as its not in your head lights. Can not imagine the damage those monsters would do.
Don't have to imagine it, as I saw
a photo not too long ago of a mid-sized car that hit a moose ! The
bull's rack had cut through the
length of the roof and the bull
itself was hanging halfway out
the back window - the roof looked
like an open zipper ! I figure a big
buck could do similar damage to
a smaller car !
Wow! What big racks! Listen, all you deer hunters, you spend less than 2 percent of your time actually glassing bucks, so why not expand the scope and interest of your hunting season? Here is what I am suggesting, Keep your eyes peeled for any signs of Indian Signal Trees! One member has already contacted me about one near him. We aren't sure, but he intends to verify whether it is a signal tree or just a natural aberration.
We aren't the first hunters in these woods by a long shot. You might also be on the lookout for fields of granite where earlier Native Americans would have spent a lot of time making arrowheads, and other points from granite.
As a preferred wood to make bows, many tribes from further away would trade to acquire a bow made from Bois D Arc. This was reported to originally being a stretch of Bois D Arc reaching from about Waco, Texas northeast up as far as Eastern Oklahoma and Southwestern Arkansas. Indians thought this wood had a straight grain and was quite strong. There were some reports that a good bow was worth a bride in exchange!
Due to the Bois D Arc's fast growth and desirability to make windrow protection during the Dust Bowl days, it has spread to almost every state. It was once known and "Horse high, Bull strong, and Hog proof!" and due to having thorns, was thought to be the inspiration for barbed wire!" Just Sayin...RJS
