I am just getting into fishing and have been watching You Tube videos on bass fishing and trout / pan-fish fishing. I understand the one of the benefits of using braid is that it floats and helps make the line more visible. My question to the group is which of the Hi-Vis colors do folks find to be MOST VISIBLE.
I see Orange, Red and Yellow to be available.

I see more Hi Vis Yellow than any other. I guess which ever color you like/see best. Or which ever is the cheapest.
Have to agree, yellow seems like it has highest visibility!
The reason school buses are yellow.
Yellow for sure... Why? If your fly fishing or using a spinner you can see when to mend the line, if you are trolling you can see your spread of lines behind the boat.
White is now available. I have read that it is more visible than yellow when wearing glasses. I read a few publications of tests under various conditions. White came out on top under the most light variations. I am currently using Suffix 832 in neon green on most of my rigs. It is actually a lime color. I switched to it from power Pro. I really like the way it handles and it does not fade like Power Pro. It is also very visible.

I am open to others opinions about 832
I really appreciate the feedback. Thank you all so much.
Regardless of the color of my braid I use a minimum of 6 ft of fluorocarbon leader. P Line fluroclear has been very good for me.
That is only for casting right, not trolling?

Hello Ben. I ordered 2 spools of yellow & 1 spool of blue Yozuri for my trip to Sturgeon Bay in September. I'm having eye surgery for new lens on the 29th of this month so I needed a little help seeing my line. After I had the line on my reels & found the Yozuri cast about like my favorite, Power Pro, I tried it out in our local lake Tenkiller. It's just a very deep

I still have the line on 3 baitcasters & now I have no problems with the colors. I do use a fluro leader. I use braid (10 lb) with a leader for crappie fishing from the docks in winter. I use mist green power pro & have no line memory problems in the cold water. Tight lines.
