I am learning to say surf fish and wonder if anyone has any input on fishing at St. Simon's or Jekyll island during the winter, maybe I can catch some small sharks?

Welcome Tim. Just through a line out as far as you can with some shrimp on it. You'll be surprised what you'll catch. Best if you use a pyramid or pancake sinker so the tide doesn't move it to fast . Listen to Plumbob about you personal info.
