Hello friends,

It's been way too long since I've been on The Stage. I've been retired now for 6 weeks and settling into a new routine. I think I'm about to figure it out and get in the groove of doing what I want to do when I want to do it.

I've missed all of you and I have a lot of catching up to do to see what y'all have been up to.

I've had the new pontoon out a few times. I'm hoping for some good weather to allow me to get out more often in the next few weeks. We usually have some very nice days in December here in North Texas.

I hope you are all well and wish each of you a stress free time leading up to Christmas.

Welcome back to the Stage and congratulation on joining The Club. It takes some time to get in the grove of being retired. Fishing has helped fill the days.

Good to see you back on the stage Papa. The retirement life style will really kick in on that morning you realize you don't have to go out in that nasty weather. Your work family will keep things going, we all are replaceable and time to enjoy what you worked for.

Welcome back Papa. It takes a while to get used to retirement but you’ll get used to it. Takes a while though. It’s hard to break 40 plus years of getting up early and getting out the door

Hi PapaJ. I will be watching your posts. My daughter just moved near Tyler and I will go see her this summer. I'm wanting to catch some catfish when I'm down there. Maybe you can give me some tips.
