www.farwide.com for three trout fishing locations close to
Asheville ! Another website (if searching specifically for brook
trout) is www.citizen-times.com !
Other sites (including N.C. F & G
and 'aa-fishing.com') should yield
more info regarding your fishing destination ! Make sure to check

If you look at a map..... you see faint blue lines that are small streams that feed into large rivers . Follow the feeder streams( blue lining) to catch native trout. Sometimes you have to go a few miles. Very Exciting...
Like hiking/fishing combination. Usually at higher elevations.
