Getting prepared to move to west coast of florida. Looking forward to new fishing grounds and techniques.
Good mornin', PDS, welcome to the Forum, we have a lot of members from the Gator State. It is MHO, that the West Side has the better fishing, but it also has more red tide.
Salt. I’ll get my sea legs going and find some hot spots , maybe I’ll post some info where and how. Not much information here from what I have seen so far.

love to see some of your catch. Sorry I wasn't much help.
Welcome to the Stage and greetings from SW Florida. I'm in the Venice/Englewood area and am a Newbie to Saltwater fishing. I have been fishing two of the local piers. I was just turned on to a local jetty by another Stage member. Where you heading on the West coast?
Actually moving to Venice. I’ve got a son who lives in nokomis. I’m going to be focusing on surf and bay/ flats. I’ve had good luck in the surf on manzanita key on the correct tides. Will be visiting over the next couple of weeks as I live out of state. I have a house getting started in Venice in the mean time.
