Get your line in the water, man! You are in the ideal spot to fish all winter. You cannot catch any fish unless you are keeping your line in the water.
Think about all those fishermen up in the frigid north who are sitting in little houses shivering and freezing and staring at little holes in the ice! You have to 'carry the load'! Just Sayin...RJS
