Will be fishing in the rain next week at Bodega Bay. If the wind is bad and forced to fish in the bay, any tips. If the wind is not to bad any thoughts on the best place to pickup a long cod

I always had good Ling fishing just inside Buoy 14 off Ft Ross. There is a reef just inside the Buoy in about 60-80 ft. deep. We used to drop jigs next to the Buoy and catch small rock cod and use them for live bait. We used a live bait rig with a lip hooked small rock cod and drifted the reef. We always managed to catch nice Lings this way.
