Sunshine last Friday called a friend to get out with me minnow fishing bluff . Got to the lake they dropped it 6’ since the last time out. We hooked up a couple bass then I hooked a bigger one thought it was a cat at first the way it dove down nice fight on my ultralight.it’s only 5.5 lbs still the biggest this year It’s the one when I put my sweats on. Some of you might recognize my friend.Dropping the lake exposed an underwater cave good day to y’all

Nice sized bass the whitereb! Your trip to the lake paid off in a big way! That cave is interesting. I'll bet that the fish know about it and hang out in there when they get bored with the open space in the big lake!

Nice fish Whitereb. Did you cast into the cave? The rock formation is very interesting 👍👍

Yes I did nothing right off took pics or formations on bank so I can find it later next spring. Didn’t fish it long didn’t want to keep FD waiting. Ther is an opening on the opposite side of hill I was curious if they connected. I bet there is a big flathead back in there

Looks like you found their secret hiding spot? I hope you can find it again when the water level rises?
Congrats on a good day!

Some of the holes look like drill holes. I'd say that's definitely a cat hangout. Time will tell 👍🎣

Good spot for a predator to mug a smaller fish from, especially on a sunny day.
