Saltwater rods for boat fishing

Looking to get us some moderately priced short rods (6-7 feet) for saltwater boat fishing. We just bought a boat and all our rods are light tackle or heavers for surf fishing. I’m sure y’all can give me some good ideas. Primarily targeting trout but want the ability for larger fish action, too.

I bought a 7 ft rod from Pro bass in Round Rock Tx with a Penn Battle III spinning reel. Put 20 pound braided line on it. Go to the desk area where they keep the reels and ask the employee working the desk what they recommend. I am happy with my purchase. You definitely want some stiffness to the rod for the bigger fish.

Diawa had a boat rod series that was inexpensive but good quality.

Ugly Stiks are reasonably priced and pretty durable or go with the Bass Pro Shops rods

Tsunami has a lot of options for inshore fishing . They are very good quality at a moderate price. Almost every good tackle shop / source carries them, Bass Pro, Cabelas, Tackle Direct, and smaller shops as well. Google Tsunami fishing rods. Their trophy series are very nice .
I have a medium heavy 7’ rod from Star rods that only cost me 60-75 bucks if I remember correctly. That rod has served me well for inshore fishing for fluke/flounder striped bass, weakfish/trout. Also I have some Penn combos spinfisher and battle that are working great.
