Nice post. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed the pictures.
Nice post! It does seem like for the most part...high volume "catching" has been in a lull of late...although some folks are still doing well in certain parts of the Country! We are enjoying a solid snowstorm right now...no way I'd be out fishing today in Northern Michigan!

Oh, how we west coast folk envy those #'s !!
The mountain lakes are nearing 10%, as are most of our reservoirs. The "fullest" body of water in this area is the one dam/reservoir that impounds the Rogue River, Lost Creek. Latest report is 18% full, only one ramp useable (the one that doesn't have a dock !)..... surface water temp 35°F. And this reservoir only freezes (skimming) in the coves.....provided they actually have water in them when we get a cold stretch.
They're only letting out 900+ cfm from the dam, when the norm is closer to 1200-2200....lots more boulders for drift boat guys to dodge than usual, of course.
Actually kind of a moot point, since why go ?, if there hasn't been any rain to get the steelhead moving upriver, anyway !
Anybody know Mother Nature's phone # or email ?...... gotta couple suggestions.......
Thanks for sharing your pics, PBanks !
