New to flats fishing. We just bought a nice pathfinder bay boat and putting our Mako on a rest period. Looking to go to Naples and Marco Island as we are on the East Coast -Ft Laud area - I am new to using lures and gigs - any pointers so I know I am doing it right. Some say constant reeling after you cast vs tap and reel back continuously ? I’ve only caught and lost a snook in my backyard canal on a lure. Thanks for the feedback AWill

adnyy1: I have been told that fishermen who aren't familiar with the area can get lost. Pay close attention to your GPS, and do not erase your previous tracks! They will lead you back to your starting point. Good luck and post a picture of your catch. Just Sayin...RJS
