Any thoughts on bass fishing in central Florida in December? I know it’s not the best time of year but we are here and we like to fish.
Verheyen01: Forget the best time of the year, get your lines in the water. You might get lucky and have the time of your life with a great catching experience. You did not mention whether you would be fishing from a boat or shore, nor fishing with lures or live bait. I believe that LMB' s love large minnows if you can get any. Be sure to post pictures.
And Welcome to the Forum, you have come to the right place. Just Sayin...RJS
We’ve managed to find a few nice largemouth down here.
Nice stringer in Highlands County this morning. Looks like the Bass are spawning. Total weight 8 fish 14 pounds.
Yes Florida is one of the best fishing sites in the world, only if we keep only what you want to eat and return the rest back so our kids and great grandkids will also be able to do the same... The bigger bass are the ones that we need to put back in the water as quick as possible, my wife says to hold your breath until you get them back in the water...if you can't then the fish can't either (breathe)😂
