Howdy, all,
Many of you will not like me as I am a dyed-in-the-wool c*******t. Oh well. I like trout fishing.

Welcome to the stage. I don’t much care about anyone’s political views as long as they keep ‘em to themselves. We love pictures of fish caught.

Then stay in Oregon and off the stage. We all know what “republic of California” means. Used to be Southern California but it migrated north and took over Oregon. If you could stick to trout fishing that would be great but you’ve proved you can’t do that. I hope you leave soon🙏🙏. We don’t need more of your kind here.
i think yall are takin the bait from this buzz guy. people like that are the reason wife and i no longer are on facebook. some on the left side of things like to antagonize people with different beliefs. many refuse to have informed discussion. they prefer hurling insults. [droolers?] im not takin the bait. i welcome all people and opinions but lets stick to what we are all here for. granpa used to say "if you dont have something good to say shut the f--k up"

Mostly in California. Eastern Sierra, lakes from Sandy Wool in Milpitas to the mighty cold-weather trout lakes that are known for bass fishing but when things get cold, they plant trout (and have numerous holdovers) so they're fished for trout, some are near the surface, perfect for top-line trolling.
Camanche, Folsom, New Melones, Don Pedro, which also has king salmon in it. Folsom also has salmon running up the American River. Oroville is a great cold-weather trout lake. Also has salmon. Tahoe, of course but you need a real boat on Tahoe. If you're out in the middle of the lake chasing macks and the wind picks up, you're in trouble.
For top-line, I use a little, ancient but still made today lure called a Flicker Spinner. Made by Yakima baits, now. Available on Amazon in all the sizes and colors. For top-line trolling, it's the best lure I've ever found. I've caught midgets to monsters on that lure.
Hey Jar, you wanna go fishing? I usually use ultralight tackle because a trout more than five pounds is pretty rare.
