Catfish, we got a lot in common. My mother in law will be 93 in May and she still goes off shore fishing with us.

Thatā€™s awesome. I told you about my fishing buddy in Alaska right? The 99 year old?

Thatā€™s cool Dozer. Iā€™m as healthy as anyone I know my age. Might be genetic? My dad died at 64 but he smoked like a fireplace, had numerous heart attacks and lived on junk food. The rest of my family, on both sides, lived well up into their 90s. Even my Dadā€™s Dad. He was 94 when he passed. I had great grandparents who passed 100. Might be something to that, whole, watch what you out in your body deal.

That's awesome Dave. Just went to visit her for Thanksgiving and she can still cook the best food and pies. That's what you are for to catch the fish for them. I never go up to see MIL with out taking some fish and shrimp. Oh yeah. Got to take deer meat also.

My dad died at 75. Cutting grass and rolled a tractor on him cutting on the side of a hill. Most everybody else lived a long life.

Yeah, Catfish I consider myself healthy for my age. Iā€™m pushing 71 real hard and donā€™t have to take any meds. Just a few aches and pains. I guess some of us are just fortunate and have good genesā€¦šŸŸon

Yeah, Mom and Dad live 800 miles south of me so I only get down to see them 3 or 4 times a year. Although theyā€™re healthy theyā€™re ability to get around has dwindled, so Mom has submitted to basically doing the heat and serve. So when Iā€™m down there Iā€™ll cook and prepare the meals we used to have back in the old days. It was funny. I was down there in October and she said ā€œI wish you lived here. I could get use to thisā€ and Dad says the same, because I do repairs around the place. I tell ya what. Donā€™t think it wasnā€™t easy leaving after hearing that from them. It might be time to start considering taking care of them. After all, they took care of me for my first 18 yearsā€¦šŸŸon
