Good to finally sign in. Getting ready for ice fishing here in northern lower “tip of the mitt” Michigan. Cant wait to fish the hardwater, it’s a blast!

Welcome to the Stage Ryp. You're welcome to it! We have some places here, up in the mountains, where you can take a walk on the water, but you hafta really really want to go there to do it. Not for me.

Welcome to the stage Ryp! Sounds like we may be working the same territory at times in Northern Michigan. All the best to you this upcoming season...and from all appearances so far this November...we may be for some "great ice" this year!

Waiting here in southern n h . For some good ice time. Seems like it happens later and ends sooner than it used to . Good luck with ice fishing

I usually stay pretty close to home and fish around Traverse City, but I have ambitions to get to Lake Bellaire at least a couple of times for walleye.
I'm hoping that the Road Commission has that new bridge built over Finch Creek so I do not have to rack up extra miles on the detour! I have not been up that way for a while now.

Welcome Ryp, I’m envious of you guys with the long ice season. It’s sometimes iffy down here and I surely miss the cookouts with the Coleman stove out there immediately frying up the catch, doesn’t get any better than that. Appears that ice fishing brings out the best in all of us.
