Ponder this.
Last night while waiting sleep my mind was wandering and this was a thought.
What would it be like if for the month of Dec. all communication in the U.S. had to be t***hful? People could not lie. They would not be required to comment. But they could not lie. Also omission is a lie. So it is the "whole t***h".
Would we be better off or come to a grinding halt?
I was thinking about all the B.S. shoved at us every day.
I think I saw a movie like that once where one guy could only tell the t***h. I think if it were to actually happen
1.at first there would be a lot of angry people when they discover they have been played the fool,
2/ there would be a lot of confused people when they find out causes they invested time and resources in were based on a lie
3. a lot of broken relationships
4.embarased people who found out that they really were not as good in things they did that people had been telling them
but once all the dust settled it would be a good thing since we should all be t***hful, but of course speaking something that does not turn out to be true and a lie are two completlly different things, one is being wrong the other is being deceptive so there would still always be honest disagreements

Roger that. I believe things would come to a “ grinding halt “ for certain group of current “ saviours” in this country......My 2cents
but of course speaking something that does not turn out to be true
Why would an t***hful speak not knowing all the facts?
Man, what a mess that could be….like those little “white” lies or stretched t***hs we tell to protect others feelings. “Does this dress make me look fat?” No, your fat does! could be a forced honest answer…..🤕
Might be cool in ways, 3/4 of the house and senate would be caught for lying. Not cool though because the courts would be full of divorce cases. Shutup is right though, what a mess this country would be in!

I believe that movie might be the
Jim Carey comedy ' Liar, liar !',
where his son makes a wish that
his father could speak only the
t***h for one full day - pretty big stretch there as his character
was a LAWYER !

good question but very rarely does anyone know all the facts about things. You see this in the area of medicine, and other sciences all the time. A lot of the time we operate on the "preponderance of the evidence" and "personal observation" and based on that in good faith draw conclusions that may in time be proven to be false. Opinons that are presented at t***hs are just t***hful opinions that may or may not be absolute t***h. I guess it would be more accurate to say honest opinions one believes to be true vs dishonest opinions one knows to be false

I will concede to your knit picking if you concede " cannot lie" Just like the
Jim Carey comedy ' Liar, liar

Would be very interesting but I’m thinking all of the people who brag about how honesty is all they present and they can’t stand people who lie would probably be the people we wouldn’t hear from given they would not be “required” to say anything. Probably be a pretty quiet month. Lol
Well, I can see some are debating telling the t***h to voice an opinion without all the facts. There is a third option, 'to say nothing at all!' Can you see a country where there is more silence because there is a period, or month, where only the t***h must be held to in all communication? T***h or silence! Just Sayin...RJS

I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be knit picking I was just "Ponder this" and of course I would love a time where no lies were told. And the world would be a much better place for it.
