I'd like to find someone who I can contact for squid pier fishing
updates in exchange for current info on fishing the Columbia
River in the Tri Cities area -- bass, walleye, etc.
Great post. Wish I could help.

Calamari may be in freezer near all the Turkey at local grocery store. Hopefully someone can help you. Sounds like a whole lot of driving if you want to target Salmon and Squid.
You got it right, Jeremy, but as a fisherman you know we don't do it to be
cost effective. You're right about the driving -- about 4 hours both ways; however,
I got to spend three evenings with a son jigging for squid off the piers, trying out
some homemade lures, and learning some techniques by watching dozens of
expert oriental "squiders".
I like jigging, be it for giant lake trout, salmon, halibut, perch, or even 8 inch squid.
It's something to do before the Columbia gets hot for winter blade blasting for walleye
in a month or so.
