A little late but there are fish for sure. Winter Steelhead are available. Chinook Salmon are usually still biting if you know where to target Fall Chinook. There is Lingcod and many saltwater fish to target year round. Crabbing is fun in winter.
Welcome to FStage. Are you planning some bay or river fishing?

Mornin', Bob, welcome to the Forum. Most of the places if it isn't too cold out.
Welcome to the Stage Bob. Sorry I can't help I'm on the South West coast of Florida.
Elk or Sixes river near Port Orford on the southern coast. Late chinook run. Lots of fun but crowded.

Welcome to the Stage Bob, some fun and info here so enjoy. Post some pictures when you can. I know one of my friends just got Into the Chinook on the Elk a couple/3 weeks ago, but other than that I haven’t heard much.

Hi Bob, I am in Salem too. This time of year I fish the Kilches, Wilson, and the Trask for Chinook. And the steelhead run is about to start on the North Fork Nehalem River, Klaskinine, and Necanicum. the guide's forecast has said that there is already some early steelhead in the hatchery trap on the north fork. If you have a boat you can try Tillamook bay.
