April, Arizona, Lake Powell or Havasu. September, Montana: Canyon Ferry, Hebgen Lake, Flathead Lake, any of the rivers, Madison, Gallatin, Yellowstone, Big Hole, Beaverhead. Wyoming Flaming Gorge, Jackson Lake, again any of the rivers. Idaho, Lake Cuoer d'Alene, Henry's Lake, Snake River, Salmon RiverHenry's Fork.....should be enough to get you pointed anyway?πŸŽ£πŸ‘ Tight lines Johnnie

Checkout Helena Montana for really great fly fishing. Henry's lake in southeast Idaho is also a favorite for big trout

Can you be more specific about what you want to target and your favorite type of fishing? For example fly. troll. cast etc. Also, do you want to fish salt or fresh and lake or river?

Hi. I live in Montana close to Flathead Lake. I would suggest visiting this area and hiring a guide to take you out for large Lake Trout. Pricing is not bad for the guide. Good luck and let me know if your heading out this way.

I lived in Hat Creek, Ca. for 8 years. Had a piece of property on Wilcox rd. centerline of Hat Creek for 600 feet.
I used to fly fish every day on way to work and on the way home. There are so many places to fish it's fantastic. I especially like Fall River near the head waters. Where "Rick's Lodge" used to be. We now live on the Coast in N. Ca. there are 10 rivers with in 50 miles of us, great Salmon and Steelhead fishing along with amazing ocean fishing.

Fish for chinook salmon in august and September in the tillamook bay. My son and went with Big Johnson’s guided service for three days. We caught 5 chinooks 25 to 35 pound mint bright. We also caught several small silver salmon but chinooks are the best eating salmon there is.
