How do you guys store bait caster reels with line on them?

I want to be able to take the reel off of my rod and put on another reel. However, I don’t want to remove the line. With spinning reels there is a place to lock your line, but I don’t see one on this bait caster.

I tie a loop on the end of my line and put it around the reel handle.

The newer lews baitcasters come with a hook keeper device that you could tie your line to...but with others just tie something ( a split ring, pull tab from a can, etc) to the line and then just reel your line to the reel until whatever you have tied on stops at the level wind . ........My 2cents....

One tie a loop and put around the reel foot and tighten or don’t worry about so much, line doesn’t fall off of spool on a baitcast like a spinning reel
