My wife and I have yet to get our boosters but I'm sure that we will eventually. Neither of us has even had bad cold so far. I've got three daughters that for different reasons have not been v******ted. Two of them have had to deal with c***d. They're 50-ish except for the youngest who is 39. The two older ones both had c***d, but since they're young and in pretty good shape they weren't that sick with it. Miserable, but not critical. The only people I've heard of that got c***d after they were v******ted have been folk that weren't actually v******ted, they claimed to be but weren't, like dipchit Aaron Rogers.

As for gas prices, I'm wondering if we aren't being not so gently nudged into acceptance of vehicles powered by other than f****l f**ls? Has anyone done a comparison of cost to operate between gas and diesel and electric? Other than the cost of buying one or other. I see that Hyundai has come out with the Nexo which is powered by hydrogen, which is a great idea, but they go for about 60K, and where the hell you go to get a hydrogen fuel cell? And what does one of those cost if you can find one?

If you have friends in the business of big oil. Which I do. Commercial fishermen are directly effected by the price of oil and how it’s fluctuating. They tell me the issue is refusal to use our own resources and relying, again, on foreign oil suppliers. I couldn’t say for sure but that’s what they tell me. Nothing mentioned about electric cars that I’ve been aware of.
I have a close friend here in Idaho that opted for an electric vehicle. Can’t remember the name of it but it’s a mid sized SUV thing. All wheel drive and she said she paid more for it that the last two cars she’s had combined. $40,000.00 and change. Life expectancy on the batteries is 4 to 6 years under “normal driving conditions”. She’s had it two years and it’s due for new batteries. $7,000.00 for new batteries and you can’t change them yourself yet. It went from a 400 mile range on a charge to just under 140 now but this is not flat ground/ no head wind/year round 70 degree weather (normal driving conditions) it may be a little more sensible in your area but I do know they are not cheap.

Nudged isn't even the proper term. If you recall, the last Democrat in the Whitehouse came right out and said he'd love to see gas go over $5.00a a gallon NATIONWIDE. He almost got his wish too, we were up to about $4.50 for a while, at the time.
Electric vehicles are fine for short distance driving, but until they can be recharged, SAFELY, in 15 minutes, they are useless for any long distance travel. Imagine going cross country, when every fuel stop takes 5+hours instead of 20minutes.

And as far as being environmentally friendly, where do those used batteries end up? A land fill somewhere I would guess.

I’ll bet you’re right but that’s still one of the secrets yet to be revealed.

For most of us that's always been true. This just emphasizes the point. Other than the taxes that are put on it, I've never thought "the government" had much to do with the price of gas. I'm re-evaluating that opinion. I'll let you all know.

It's never changed Spirit, it's called Corporate Greed, today points and gains came out on petroleum, can you guess ?More building and investments in to Electric Vehicles are driving gas prices up , and it didn't start in January damnit

$2.99 for regular today, but it will go up for the holiday. The station I typically go to had just filled up as the tanker was just packing up. They raised it to $3.24. More than double than it was before the e******n.

The agenda includes electric cars. What enter way to force them on you than increasing gas prices by manipulating the market. The next question, can they supply enough electricity it with all these electric vehicles. They have areas with row out now. What will it be like with a few million new electric cars.

Government obviously has everything to do with price of gasoline. One, about 50% of the cost is federal and state taxes for doing nothing vs the profit “big oil” who does the drilling refining t***sporting etc. Two, the first thing you do in office is start shutting down our cleanest safest cheapest means of t***sport, pipelines and close off drilling our supply. It’s still gotta get t***sported but now more hazardous and much more expensive, but hey as long as you appease your extremist base…
