Nice crappies but pretty much a bust on the lakers

My boys and a friend went over to Merrill Creek in search of some lakers while I was busy at the shop. Laker bite was slow so they switched to crappie mode and did pretty well. One small laker and lost a really good one right at the boat that Gregg estimated at 15 to 17 #.

I think I'm going to contact the Corps of Engineers and see if they will bore a fish tunnel from your lake to mine! They can add some blinking water proof neon directional arrows along the way so that the fish know what way to swim! Wow...your sons are having a blast out there and catching some mighty fine table fair while they are at it! Great photo spread BK!

PS. It might be time to fabricate a "gone fish'in" sign to hang on the door of the shop! Just kidding...I know that you enjoy it there!
