Hit the bay for the first time in almost 3 months. I spent the Summer rehabbing a lake cottage back in Indiana which will be our northern home when we visit the kids and grands.
Hit the water at sunrise on Thursday with my buddy Todd who is a veteran. We were looking for specs, but had no luck locating them. So, we started fishing the docks and caught a mess of mangrove snapper shorts. Tossed them back to grow up. Then we caught a few sheepies. Here’s a few pics from the morning. Great to be back on the water.

Beautiful pictures Barry, and nice weather too. Glad you found some to pull back. Thanks for the pix.
Way to go out there! Hopefully your Indiana work projects are as complete as they need to be so you can check that off the "to do " list! Enjoy your Winter season down South!

Thanks Gordon! I’ve been watching the stage all summer with a small touch of jealousy. Indiana projects are all minor next year so I’ll be able to do some bassin’ when I go back. I like the sheep’s to, especially when you tie into a big one. I never keep one under 18 inches. They have such a large gullet that you just don’t get enough meat to justify killing them. Tight lines buddy.😎
